Jerry Lehr I found and bought this because my wife liked this album/ep. I think now I listen to it more than she ever did. Thank you for the bonus gift for living in the states!! Favorite track: I Hope You Die.

agutterfan Plum Green the singer/songwriter has now become Plum Green the band, and the addition of electric guitars bass & drum allow her to add other wimmin influences like PJ Harvey & Patti Smith to her Kristin Hersh-type acoustic ballads, though her lyrics are all her own. Adding to her intense performances of dark poetry, as in the supporting then subsiding walls of guitar on stand-out "Cannibal" where she sings "I'm a cannibal, but I don't eat my friends", as much to convince herself as her friend. Favorite track: Cannibal.

Stuart Brown A gritty little set of songs taking the listener from grungy lows to ethereal highs. I could easily close my eyes and be in a smoke filled pub in the 90's..my favourite place to be. Favorite track: I Hope You Die.

Baby Bird 03:14
She's my baby bird, he hates me calling out to her Reminds him of his love for me when I was 17 I can't believe it's true, he looked into my eyes and said The world has broke in two, and you are on your own Just like I've always been, but now knowing what it's like Without you We are all animals and part of this land and he said oh, impatiently I thought I could trust you now, to understand. And he said no, no, no She's my baby bird, clawing at me from inside I knew that it was time to let her out so she could fly I wanted her to be mine. Her beak was pecking and her wings Were stretching and my heart was beating her blood as we broke apart She's my baby bird, he hates me calling out to her Reminds him of his love I can't believe it's true, he looked into my eyes and said The world has broke in two, and you are on your own

I became a mother, a decision maker Depended on for survival I became a machine in detecting empathy You are a threat to me and everyone I love Chorus I sincerely hope you die To feel you underneath my feet I sincerely hope you die I’d breathe a sigh of relief I could make it happen to you If I had one goal to achieve If the fortune angels had mercy on me This wouldn’t be another kick in the shins I don’t want you going on to begin again Chorus I sincerely hope you die To feel you underneath my feet I sincerely hope you die I’d breathe a sigh of relief You’re going down I hope you die

Cannibal 03:33 video
I found a peaceful spot and he wants to be my friend but I'm a cannibal, he wants to be my friend Relaxing here in the dark, my sticky lizard tongue pull it back in my mouth, I don't eat my friends Expanding lungs on my rock, the venom heating up he pulls me out of the dark to cool it down and slow now I know that I don't eat my friends

Fountain 01:54
Stand under Fountain Cool skin Washed clean Wash him from me Along comes the wind A big bone shaker Blows off my clothes Completely naked, what to do? When everything's Left you It is he Vision to me Bearing leaves Petals green Covers me In all my shame Hand in hand He's my big man, stays with me Some forty days, no words Then goes away I cry again On my hill I wait for wind And on my hill I wait for wind And on my hill I wait for wind And on my hill I wait for wind And on my hill I wait for wind And on my hill I wait for wind

The Roses 03:55
The roses like it when you cut them fast, you take your time slicing through them with your fingernails making them bleed. You got your filthy pain from me. The roses like it when you speak softly, you raised your voice. I'm trying not to hear that you cut them off and you pray grow again please. You got your filthy pain from me. And the white light's over your head and the pill about to drop and we all say how could, how could you do this to you. But I had my scissors in my pocket for you. The roses like it when you persuade them over and over again, the roses like it when you leave them alone. The white light's over your head and the beep about to stop, and we all stay wanting wanting more from you, but only what you were before darling. The roses like it when you hold the cat down on its back, the roses like it when you leave them alone.

Funeral Song 03:50
Smile and wake lean back you're in my way I lost control, I told the boy he's getting old all over your body, stuck in the mud and waiting for me to paralyse myself in sleep And my friends came around and addressed it one by one leave her alone, no no. The time was on her lips, in her lungs Now I am justified in spending those days with you inside feeling around this construction site wanting to find you there I can sense it in you like she could sense the crushed pills in her meat others will, but I refuse to eat And her friends knew it all by assessing how I walked. Leave her alone, no no. The time was on her lips, in their lungs

Kind Beast 02:58
I'm a kind beast hiding from the city and the streets I mean well and I want to be in the middle of it But every time I move my paw I knock your perfumes off the mirror shelf and onto the floor And I miss you, everyone with innocence, playing, singing even though I crush ant bodies just by turning over in my bed There's a low light where I write my postcards under Sometimes I pause from writing and look very hard I see little wings dancing underneath the yellow glow and I bless them, every one. With innocence, playing, singing just keep wishing that my light doesn't burn the tiny heads And I miss you, everyone with innocence, playing, singing even though I crush ant bodies just by turning over in my bed
