lyrics
Smile and wake. Lean back you're in my way
I lost control, told the boy he's getting old
And all over your body, stuck in the mud and waiting for me
to paralyse myself in sleep
And my friends came around, and addressed this one by one
Leave her alone, no no. The time was on their lips, in her lungs
Now I am justified in spending those days with you inside
Feeling around this construction site hoping to find you there
And I can sense it in you, like she could sense the crushed pills in her meat
others will, but I refuse to eat
And my friends knew it all by assessing how I walked
leave her alone, no no. The time was on their lips, in her lungs.

I purchased Lunar Falls without hearing a second of it, assuming some kind of folk, maybe even reminiscient of Heilung. The latter it is not, but atmospheric and yet dark folk it is indeed! Beautifully fragile, peaceful and pristine, these 44 minutes should be enjoyed as a whole, resulting in a seamless and undeniably calming listening experience. If you're in any way prone to folk, there is nothing left to be desired here. Take a break from the rush that everyday life is, and breathe. Stunning. David Fischer
